Pascal Sanchez, PhD

Dr. Pascal Sanchez is a member of the Institute of Medicine team at Altos Labs.

Pascal leads the global In Vivo Translational Sciences and Operations organization at Altos Labs, which he helped establish and now directs across all sites. His team applies in vivo systems and biomarker strategies to qualify new targets and advance drug discovery & development programs, and leads the scientific evaluation of external assets to support business development. Prior to joining Altos, he spent seven years at Denali Therapeutics as Head of In Vivo Translational Sciences, where his team led the in vivo pharmacology and biomarker efforts across a portfolio of neurodegenerative and rare disease programs. Among them was tividenofusp alfa, approved by the FDA in 2026 as the first biologic engineered to cross the blood-brain barrier, for Hunter syndrome. Earlier, he was a Staff Translational Scientist at the Gladstone Institutes of Neurological Diseases. Pascal holds a PhD in Physiology and Neuroscience from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1.
